Faith Chapel Crayford Kent’s “Love Your Neighbour” Program Brings Joy to the Community
In December 2022, Faith Chapel Crayford Kent launched its “Love Your Neighbour” program, a community outreach initiative designed to celebrate Christmas and bring joy to the community. The program included a range of activities, including donation of hampers to Bexley Council and festive Christmas Carol services at three different care homes.
The program kicked off with the donation of hampers to Bexley Council. The hampers were given to support deprived and vulnerable members of the community, providing them with a little extra support and cheer during the holiday season.
Next, Faith Chapel Crayford Kent organized festive Christmas Carol services at three different care homes. The events took place at Buckles Court on December 20th, Bushey Court on December 21st, and Lambert Court on December 18th. The carol services were an opportunity for residents to come together and celebrate the holiday season with food, friendship, and music.
The “Love Your Neighbour” program was a shining example of the impact that small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others. By reaching out to the community and providing support and cheer during the holiday season, Faith Chapel Crayford Kent was able to make a positive difference in the lives of many.
The program was also a reflection of the values of Faith Chapel Crayford Kent, which seeks to serve the community and bring people together in a spirit of love and fellowship. Through initiatives like the “Love Your Neighbour” program, the church is able to connect with the community and make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
As we look forward to the holiday season each year, let us remember the importance of community, love, and kindness. Let us also remember those who may be feeling isolated or alone during this time of year and seek to reach out to them in whatever way we can. The “Love Your Neighbour” program by Faith Chapel Crayford Kent is a shining example of the impact that small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others, and an inspiration to us all.
